Dear Katie,

I just wanted to tell you how much I enjoyed the Bloomfield Chick Ride on Sunday, September 28th.

I have NEVER done anything like this in my life (and I know my sisters haven't either), and I am still smiling with pride that I got through it. I truly thought it was going to be a simple country jaunt on some quiet roads with the occasional stop to enjoy the scenery! (The illustration of the cycling lady on the web site helped create this image, I guess!)

Instead, I learned how to use gears properly for the first time, found a whole new respect for brakes (and Rick's incredible bike!) was amazed by the support and encouragement of you and the guys on the ride - especially Alex, who got me out of several scares!

The fact that you also fixed my chain after the first corn field adventure got you most of my brownie points!!!

Now, on the Sunday night, after my big Chick Ride adventure, the tops of my knees were throbbing like I've never felt in my life- it actually hurt to sleep!

However, tons of Arnica cream and several Epsom salt baths later, I was as good as new in a few short days.

I know that I will never forget that special day with my sisters and I thank you for making the experience so educational and enjoyable.

Yee-haw! Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!

With much appreciation to you, Rick, your staff & honorary chicks,

TL, Toronto
